Kempinski: In April next year, the new brand Bristoria Yangzhou and Xiongan will be introduced into three new hotels

On July 2, Kempinski Hotels Group announced at the "Kempinski Nokin China Roadshow 2024" that it will introduce the new brand Bristoria in April next year, and plans to launch three new hotels in Yangzhou and Xiongan. At the same time, the Group is optimistic about the Chinese outbound tourism market and plans to increase its development efforts in the Middle East and Africa market.


Amanda Elder, chief commercial officer at Kempinski Hotels, said the group operates 82 hotels in 36 countries and has more than 34 projects under development.


According to reports, Kempinski Hotels Group has been in China for 32 years, in addition to Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen and other first-tier cities, but also to tap the potential of first-tier surrounding and second-tier cities, such as Suzhou, Hangzhou and so on. Next, Kempinski plans to sign contracts in Xiamen, Chengdu, Tai 'an, Wuhan and other places.


On April 18 next year, Kempinski will launch two new hotels at a time in the form of a double brand at the intersection of the Yangtze River and the Canal in the Yangzhou Economic and Technological Development Zone. Among them, the Yangzhou Nuoyuan Kempinski Hotel focuses on luxury style, with 92 rooms and suites, equipped with swimming pool, spa, gym and other facilities. The other is the Kempinski Bristoria brand hotel in China for the first time, with 312 rooms, featuring a minimalist style, dedicated to providing travelers with one-stop services.


In addition, Kempinski has signed a management agreement with Xiongan Group for the Grand Hotel Kempinski China, which is scheduled to open on December 31, 2026. Xiongan Grand Kempinski Hotel will offer 330 rooms and 112 serviced apartments, as well as meeting rooms, all-day restaurants, beer rooms and other facilities.


Looking at the world, Kempinski is optimistic about the steady growth of the Chinese outbound tourism market. The Group has welcomed many Chinese tourists to stay in European countries such as Germany, Rome, Paris, London and Switzerland, as well as Thailand, Singapore and Indonesia in Southeast Asia and Dubai in the Middle East. Kempinski expects to launch several new hotels in the Middle East and Africa over the next four years, such as three Kempinski cabins in Tanzania, which will feature "animal migration" and "safari" themes, and Yanbu Kempinski in Saudi Arabia, which will focus on seaside resorts. At the same time, the Group is also advancing the construction of new projects in Riyadh, Jeddah, Mecca and Medina in Saudi Arabia, as well as in Congo, Africa.
