The growth of lifestyle and resort hotels and the new mid - to high-end Hyatt Studios brand further expands Hyatt's presence in new markets, increasing the loyalty of Hyatt Land members while attracting new guests
Hyatt Hotels Corporation recently reported an increase of nearly 85% since 2017 to 129,000 rooms in its pipeline, an all-time high. This significant growth underscores the high level of recognition hotel owners have for the Hyatt brand and the strength of the Hyatt brand. Hyatt is committed to building their portfolio of preferred hotels for high-end guests, doubling the number of luxury hotel rooms, tripling the number of resort rooms, and growing the number of lifestyle hotel rooms fivefold since 2017.

Our brand portfolio expansion strategy deliberately combines new and existing markets to enhance the network effect for owners and guests. In addition, the number of members of the award-winning Hyatt Place Loyalty Program has grown fourfold since 2017. By the end of the first quarter of 2024, the number of Hyatt Place members worldwide reached 46 million, an increase of 22% compared to the same period last year. Hyatt World also has 30 percent more members per hotel on average than other larger hotel groups.

One Bangkok Andaz Hotel (expected to open in 2025) is the first Andaz branded hotel in Bangkok and will be part of One Bangkok, Thailand's largest integrated development in the central business district.
Tongsen Hotel Shanghai Expo (expected to open in the second quarter of 2025) will be the first Tongsen brand hotel in the Asia Pacific region, and the hotel is located in the Shanghai Expo Park, making it an ideal residence for business travelers, exhibition participants and leisure travelers.
With the successful opening of Hyatt House Shanghai Zhongshan Park in April this year, the Hyatt House brand made its debut in the Asia Pacific region. Meanwhile, Hyatt Place Osaka Namba, Japan, also opened in June. In addition, Hyatt Hotel Saigon (Vietnam), Hyatt Hotel Tochachi (Japan) and Hyatt Hotel Parliament Square (Sydney, Australia) will also open in 2025, further expanding the influence of the Hyatt Hotel brand in the Asia-Pacific market.

After a complete renovation, The Bentley Southampton (now open) will join the Hyatt Select brand in September, becoming the first Hyatt Hotels Corporation branded property in the Hamptons.
The Tonson Hotel Palm Springs (expected to open in September 2024) will offer a total of 168 bungalows style rooms and suites in the heart of the Palm Springs Design District. Opening for reservations on September 5, 2024, the highly anticipated hotel features its vibrant dining concept, Lola Rose Grand Mezze and Napa Valley's first tasting room at Hall Winery.
Andaz Miami Beach (expected to open in late 2024), formerly known as Confidante Miami Beach. The hotel is currently undergoing a multi-million dollar redesign and will be the first Andaz hotel in Florida when completed. This newly conceived resort will provide guests with a new immersive dining experience brought by the Jose Andres Group restaurant Group.
The Tonson Miami Beach Hotel (expected to open in late 2024) will overlook Soundscape Park and feature a rooftop pool, restaurant and bar. Its iconic exterior was designed by renowned French architect Rudy Ricciotti and designer Atelier Gulla Jonsdottir.
The Legend Paracas Resort (expected to open in 2024) will join the Hyatt Regency brand in 2024, marking the brand's official introduction to the South American market. Located on the Peruvian coast about three hours south of Lima, the resort is nestled between the Paracas Nature Reserve and the Pacific Ocean, with panoramic views of Paracas Bay and rugged desert hills.
The Digby Hotel (expected to open in 2025) will be the first hotel in Georgia to join the Hyatt Reserve brand and will be located in Savannah's Ellis Square, just steps from City markets, River Street and world-class shopping and dining.
Hyatt Regency SAN Juan Verde Island (expected to open in 2025) will be the first Hyatt Regency brand hotel in Puerto Rico. The hotel is located in the bustling Verde Island neighborhood, just a block from Verde Island Beach and within walking distance of restaurants, shopping, historic landmarks and nightlife.
Andaz Turks and Caicos Islands Grace Bay (expected to open in 2026) will be the first Hyatt Hotels Group branded hotel in Turks and Caicos Islands and the first Andaz hotel in the Caribbean. The 5.5-acre resort will include three restaurants and bars, a high-rise rooftop venue and a variety of lifestyle amenities.
The Monterrey Tonson Hotel (expected to open in 2026) will be the first Tonson hotel in Mexico. The hotel will be located in the Torre IKON Tower, a 31-story mixed-use tower that is one of the most iconic high-rise buildings in the SAN Pedro Garza Garcia neighborhood.
Europe, Africa, and Middle East:
The me and all Berlin East Side hotel (expected to open in August 2024) is one of the first projects following a partnership agreement with Lindner Hotels in October 2022. The hotel has 223 rooms and will be added to the Hyatt Select brand.
Hyatt Regency Cairo West (expected to open by the end of 2024) will be the second Hyatt Regency Cairo, a 301-room hotel located in the west of the city, close to the city's major business centers and tourist attractions.
The 312-room Andaz Doha Hotel (expected to open by the end of 2024) is the first Andaz branded hotel in Qatar, located in Qatar's famous Western Gulf region.
Hotel Tonson Rome (expected to open in mid-2025) is located in the heart of Rome and will have 70 rooms. This will be the first Tonson-branded hotel in Italy, housed in a historic building that was once the seat of the Italian Communist Party.
The Tonson Hotel Seville (expected to open in 2026) will be the first Hyatt Hotels Group hotel in Seville and the fourth Tonson-branded hotel planned for Europe.
In addition, in the Asia Pacific region, Hyatt and Kiraku jointly established the modern onsen hotel (ryokan) brand ATONA (Uru) in 2022. ATONA is expected to open its first hotel in 2026 in Japan's top hot springs and natural attractions, including Yubu, Yakushima and Hakone. ATONA is Hyatt's first brand originating in Japan and is designed to provide travelers with a rich cultural experience and connect them with the local community.
Hyatt Studios' brand growth continues to accelerate, with more than 250 partnerships under discussion and the start of construction of a second hotel
The Hyatt Studios brand is Hyatt's entry into the mid-to-high-end long-term accommodation market. Hyatt Studios currently has more than 250 partnerships in various stages of negotiation, including development rights agreements signed or in discussions with several owners, each of whom will develop at more than five locations. The brand just celebrated the groundbreaking of its second Hyatt Studios hotel in Huntsville, Alabama.
To set the brand apart from the competition, each Hyatt Studios hotel will offer an industry-leading 24/7 store, free high-speed Internet and streaming services, electric vehicle charging stations, and streamlined technology that can further enhance the brand's efficient operations.

Brand upgrades and refurbishments:
Grand Hyatt Indian Wells Resort & Villas, which is expected to undergo a brand upgrade in September 2024, will be renamed from Hyatt Indian Wells Resort & Spa. The hotel spent $64 million on an extensive renovation that included remodeling rooms, suites, luxury villas, updating the restaurant concept and optimizing the pool experience.
The Grand Hyatt Scottsdale Resort (expected to be rebranded by the end of 2024) will be the first Grand Hyatt hotel in Arizona when it completes its rebranding from the Hyatt Resorts & Springs in the Gainey Ranch area of Scottsdale, which will cost nearly $110 million and undergo renovations.
The Grand Hyatt Singapore is scheduled to reopen in phases in the third quarter of 2024 following an extensive renovation.

The Grand Hyatt Deer Valley (expected to open in late 2024) will mark the Grand Hyatt brand's debut in Utah, USA. The hotel is located in the highly anticipated Deer Valley East Village within Deer Valley Resort.
Grand Hyatt Cayman Apartments (expected to open in 2025) will be the first Grand Hyatt branded hotel in the Cayman Islands. Located on Grand Cayman's famous Seven Mile Beach, the hotel has 351 rooms and nearly 10,000 square feet of indoor meeting space.
The 275-room Grand Hyatt Santa Fe Mexico City (expected to open in 2025) will be the first Grand Hyatt hotel in an urban area in Mexico and the second in the region.
The 430-room Grand Hyatt Red Sea (expected to open in 2025) will be the first Grand Hyatt hotel on Shura Island, the heart of the Red Sea project on Saudi Arabia's west coast.
The Grand Hyatt Los Cabos (expected to open in 2026) will be the first Grand Hyatt hotel in Baja California Sur, Mexico, and is located within the OLEADA Pacific Living and Golf private resort community. Located on nearly 1,200 acres, the hotel features approximately 20,000 square feet of indoor meeting space, as well as outdoor event lawns and a world-class 18-hole golf course designed by Golf Hall of Famer Ernie Els, designed to provide guests with a luxury experience.
Grand Hyatt Saint Lucia (expected to open in 2026), will offer 345 rooms and is the first Grand Hyatt hotel on the island of Saint Lucia. The hotel will have more than 20,000 square feet of meeting space to accommodate large and small meetings and events.

Hyatt Retreats hotels are committed to providing guests with a new experience that combines comfort and luxury. At the end of the first quarter, Hyatt Regency had 124 hotels and 41,412 rooms, further cementing Hyatt's position as the world's largest portfolio of luxury hotel brands. Secrets Playa Esmeralda Punta Cana (expected to open in 2024) is located on the northeast coast of the Dominican Republic, and this adults-only resort will offer visitors nine gastronomic options, including six restaurants, a cafeteria, a cafe, and a restaurant.
